• Schedule: Full-Time
  Shift: Days  

• $20,000 Sign-on Bonus and $3,000 Relocation Bonus for eligible applicants
• *Terms: 12-month Employment Contract Required for Sign-On and Relocation. 
•  Sign-on Eligibility:
  • Applicable experience required.
  • Internal Candidates and Rehires within 12 months are not eligible.
• Relocation Eligibility:
  • Must live 50 miles outside of campus address.

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to gather data on patients' physical, emotional, and social health status. * Develop and implement individualized care plans with specific goals and interventions based on assessment data. * Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. * Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting progress. * Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to empower them in managing their health.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


• Organizational and multi-tasking skills [Required]

• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures [Required]

• Ability to work as a team player within a unit [Required]

• Effective verbal and oral communication and problem-solving skills [Required]

• Peri-operative or post-operative care of cardiothoracic patients [Required]

• Management of mechanical circulatory devices [Required]

• Ability to care for complex cardiothoracic surgical and advanced heart and lung disease patients [Required]

• EKG (based on patient population; see document EKG and Advanced Life Support Requirements) [Required]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]

• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]


Work Experience:

• +1 year of OR Circulator Experience

• CVICU experience [Preferred]

• CVOR experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
