PURPOSE OF JOB: Provide comprehensive clinical support for cardiac devices and manage device clinic. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsible for the administration and clinical management of the Paceart/ Optima Data Base including connectivity of device related databases to electronic health records; provide office support for the device clinic. Provide clinical management and support for patients monitored with remote device checks. Provide education to patients/family about devices which include care and follow up. Collaborate with other coordinators and staff to design, incorporate and improve device clinic processes. Assist with seeing office visits and charge for them when appropriate.
