The Cardiac Device Technician will have in depth knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology. With oversight from an Arrhythmia Service Provider, the device technician performs independently in the technical management of implanted Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) devices such as pacemakers, implantable defibrillators and implanted loop recorders. Technical duties include in person and remote CRM device interrogation, evaluation and testing for proper thresholds, sensing and impedance of leads and recognition of alert conditions. The device technician can interpret the data and ensure proper programing.
