This Medical Instrument Technician (EKG) position is located in the Cardiology Department at the West Haven location. This position is a full-time at 40 hours per week. Duties for the position include but are not limited to: Independently performs the full range of electrocardiograph procedures, and related examinations; Utilizes MUSE and MARS cardiology storage system and trouble shoots any issues by contacting G/E; Operates diagnostic medical equipment as a part of treatment of patient, supports registered nurses; and physician's equipment; Receives request and/or, consults for procedures; Interprets request from physician for appropriateness of requested procedure for patient's ability perform prescribed test. Receives assignment for which clear precedents exist; Receives assignments t
