Atlantic Health System is seeking a per diem Nocturnist Physician Assistant (PA) or Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner(NP) at Overlook Medical Center to join our dynamic Critical Care team consisting of skilled Physicians and Advanced Practice Clinicians working together with Medical Residents, Intensivists, and Cardiologists in a focused environment to provide high quality patient care.

Essential Job Functions:
Collaborate with the critical care intensivist or attending cardiologist on the care of patients within the medical-surgical ICU and CCU
Order and review appropriate testing for patients admitted to the service
Respond to acute calls on patients within the unit
Communicate with staff, patients, and families as needed in the care of admitted patients
PA: Master's Degree required
NP: BSN and Master's Degree required
PA: Valid NJ PA required
NP: Valid NJ RN and NP required
PA: National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) required
PA and NP: BLS and ACLS required
NP: Board certification by American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) preferred
2+ years as PA or NP strongly preferred
Worked as PA or NP in Acute Care with special preference for critical care experience
