OverviewThe Team Leader, Medical Assistant performs all duties of the Medical Assistant. The Team Leader, Medical Assistant supports the leadership to ensure consistency and competence in facilitating Medical Assistant new hire orientation, training, and job responsibilities. The Team Leader, Medical Assistant will demonstrate knowledge of and provide training in Medical Assistant clinic workflows, standard processes, provider directed patient care, and in accordance with WakeMed policies and procedures. The Team Leader, Medical Assistant models adherence to the standards of care, approved protocols, and standing orders. The Team Leader, Medical Assistant seeks educational resources and learning experiences to achieve and maintain currency in the area of practice.
