Medical Instrument Technician (EKG)
The Electrocardiograph (EKG) Medical Instrument Technician (MIT) functions as a member of the Cardiology multidisciplinary team. EKG technicians at this level receive and interpret physician's requests for diagnostic procedures and/or treatments; explain the procedure to the patient; document the patient's record; independently perform standardized testing, monitoring the patient for adverse reactions; and operate, calibrate, and clean and/or sterilize commonly used equipment To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
