Indiana University Health Physicians (IUHP) and the Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSOM) Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is recruiting an Electrophysiologist to join our team at the IU Health Adult Academic Health Center and Eskenazi Health. The Electrophysiology Section of the Division has a long and proud history of innovation and excellence in teaching, research and clinical care for patients with cardiac arrhythmias.
The Academic Health Center is the tertiary/quaternary referral center for the statewide IUHealth System and a major teaching hospital of the IUSOM, the only allopathic medical school in Indiana. Eskenazi is the safety net hospital for Marion County, and also a major teaching hospital for IUSOM. All cardiology services at Eskenazi Health are provided by faculty cardiologists.
Our established practice with 40 physicians and more than 30 Advanced Providers offers the full range of cardiac services from prevention and population health to implanted heart-assist devices and cardiac transplantation. The EP service provides a complete array of services from office consultation to complex ablations, hybrid procedures and lead extractions. IUHealth has established cardiology practices in the North, South and West suburbs of Indianapolis offering services locally and providing referrals for advanced therapies at the Academic Health Center.
Position Details:
Academic appointment commensurate with experience
Serve as a key faculty member of the ACGME approved CCEP fellowship training program
Participation in research is encouraged
On call rotation shared with large group of Cardiologists
Referrals from the largest primary care and specialty care practice in Indiana
Both inpatient and outpatient duties
Experience in performing complex electrophysiology procedures and device implantation/follow up is required
Experience with Lead Extractions is preferred
Must be ABIM CCEP board eligible/certified

Competitive salary structure with base plus incentive
