West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Cardiology seek a fellowship-trained Cardiac Electrophysiologist (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) to join our rapidly growing, academic state-of-the-art, employed faculty.
Opportunities are available in Morgantown, Martinsburg, and Wheeling, WV.
Duties: The successful candidate will practice in the area of cardiac electrophysiology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the successful candidate will be actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.

WVU Heart and Vascular Institute is a physician-led institute within WVU Medicine. It comprises more than 100 dedicated faculty and 1,500 affiliated team members. The institute provides state-of-the-art cardiovascular care and contributes nation-leading innovations in adult and pediatric clinical care, imaging, catheter-based structural heart interventions, electrophysiology, surgery, mechanical circulatory support, and transplantation. The institute serves all 55 counties of West Virginia, neighboring states, and beyond.
WVU Cardiac Electrophysiology is currently comprised of 5 full-time faculty who are supported by dedicated staff including 5 APP, 4RN, 6 remote CIED monitoring personnel, and OR staff at sites where we provide procedural services. We are supported by cardiac anesthesia, cardiac surgery, cardiac imaging, and a large general cardiology fellowship program. An EP fellowship program will be initiated in July 2025. Our service portfolio and equipment are state-of-the-art. Call is uniquely non-intrusive.

Qualifications: Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license. Successful candidates must be ABIM electrophysiology board certified or eligible. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
