Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab/Medical Imaging Perianesthesia - Part Time/Days

JOB SUMMARY:: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care in the area of Medical Imaging Perianesthesia and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.

About the Lab
The Pediatric Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory offers all currently available pediatric diagnostic and interventional procedures for infants, children and adolescents with congenital and acquired heart disease. Our specialists offer improved care using the latest techniques, including advanced endovascular therapeutics, enabling our pediatric specialists to close a hole in a child's heart through a 1/8-inch skin puncture.

The Registered Nurse will have the opportunity to float in Interventional Radiology, Anesthesia Medical Imaging and Cardiac Cath Lab as staffing allows and at the discretion of the management team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EXPERIENCE:

• One year of nursing experience preferred, pediatric and/or cath lab experience preferred
• Bilingual skills desirable

EDUCATION/LICENSED/CERTIFICATIONS:

• A graduate from an accredited nursing program, BSN strongly preferred
• Active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN)
• Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire of transfer into position
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into position

JOB DETAILS: Part time, days, 4 x 11.5-hour shifts per 2-week pay period

PAY RANGE: $37.08 - $62.20

DISCLAIMER: Top of pay scale for RN I & RN II is $62.20 and top of pay scale for RN III and RN IV is $66.00
