Mercy Clinic is seeking a full-time practicing Physician Operational Leader- BE/BC Cardiologist to lead our busy and nationally recognized cardiology program at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. This practice is currently powered by 16 cardiologists (5 non-invasive, 8 interventional, 3 EP's) and 16 Nurse Practitioners. The Physician Operational Leader will be responsible for bringing the Cardiology subspecialities together to achieve a cohesive Cardiology program within the Springfield Community.
Physician Operational Leader - In conjunction with community administrative leadership and in collaboration with MSLP's and RSLC's, lead and execute on the following:
Providing leadership among all Cardiology subspecialites.
Lead Cardiology group/specialty in alignment with stewardship, quality, patient experience, cultural, and community goals for the ministry and community.
Develop and stay accountable to unified set of outcome measures to ensure best in class, nationally recognized performance in Cardiology service lines and in alignment with community vision overall.
Lead the Cardiology group collectively and individually in the achievement of provider productivity expectations/standards as outlined by the service line division and community president/leadership.
Lead Cardiology physician recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts for providers in your specialty/group to including workforce planning and physician compensation discussions.
Ensure appropriate utilization of technology/supplies/equipment within the Cardiology group.
Deliver on brand promise as outlined by service line division and community president/leadership to include quality, safety, experience, cultural, and access standards.
Develop aligned measures of success that ensure achievement of goals and expectations.
