ChristianaCare is seeking a Cardiac Intensivist for our growing critical care team. The successful candidate will provide daily clinical management for the adult population in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. This is a shared 27-bed unit caring for both Cardiothoracic Surgery and Cardiology patients, approximately half of which are primary medical, average census 10-14 patients. The Intensivist cares for patients with advanced cardiac disease including cardiogenic shock requiring use of mechanical circulatory support (IABP, Impella, ProtekDuo)/invasive hemodynamic monitoring, advanced arrhythmia, and acute coronary syndrome in the 3rd busiest STEMI center in the nation.
