Atlantic Health is Seeking a Nurse Practitioner for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner to join the Observation Unit at Overlook Medical Center. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner interested in working for a supportive and well-established team with a robust staff.

The primary role of the NP is to oversee a set of assigned patients in the Observation Unit, while collaborating with the Hospitalist Attending. Some of the responsibilities include, medical management patient discharge orders and summaries, order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests, and interprets test results for deviations from normal. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Epic EMR. The shifts will be 14 shifts per 4 week block and shift time is from 7am to 6PM. No call requirement.

• Master's degree required
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• Minimum 1-2 years of acute care experience preferred
• ACLS and BLS required
• Experience in an acute care setting preferred
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
