Unit 3C is a 34 bed Acute Surgical, Telemetry, and Step Down inpatient unit at VA Palo Alto Health Care System-Palo Alto division. Registered Nurses are utilized in a staff nurse role. The RNs provide direct patient care for complex surgical patients who are admitted for pre-operative and post-operative procedures. In addition to the surgical patients 3C provides care for overflow acute medical patients. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
