Pulse Heart Institute, a part of MultiCare Health System, is a physician led institute that provides physicians' governance and decision making across an extensive cardiovascular service line in both the outpatient and inpatient setting spanning multi-hospital systems and clinics across the Pacific Northwest.Join a team of four surgeons and five APP's based in Tacoma, WA at Tacoma General Hospital, a level II Trauma Center with 437 beds and a 13-bed cardiovascular ICU. Newly trained surgeons encouraged to apply.The Practice:- Robust CABG program- Structural heart including all aspects of open valvular, TAVR, and MitraClip- Strong partnership with heart failure and interventional colleagues- LVAD, ECMO- Thoracic surgery inclusive of robotics- Growing referral basinRequirements:- Successful completion of a Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship- Board eligible/certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery- Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment- DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority- Current ACLS/BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationPreferred:- 3+ years of experience working in a cardiothoracic practice- Minimally invasive cardiac experience- RoboticsWhy choose Pulse?
