Job Description:

• Located at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest
• Oversees the Center for Advanced Heart Failure
• Identifies and resolves issues to improve patient care and clinical efficiency
• Provides education to patients and staff about heart failure and treatment modalities
• Develops and monitors treatment protocols and performance improvement
• Actively grows heart failure volume through outreach activities
• Maintains program data from internal and external databases
• Responsible for hiring, training and evaluation of heart failure center employees
• Responsible for creation of budget, business plans, resource acquisition and distribution
• Accountable for fiscal performance of the Heart Failure Center

Job Qualifications:

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
• A Valid Pennsylvania Medical License or ability to obtain one is required
• Graduate from accredited educational program for Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants
