The Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona, is one of the nation's leading medical centers for the diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, esophageal, and chest diseases. Home of one of the busiest lung transplantation programs, NTI has earned a reputation for excellence and innovation in caring for patients with complex and difficult thoracic problems. NTI is now recruiting a Medical Director for the Cardiac Care Unit (CCU). The Medical Director will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding heart program.
MD or DO Degree
Fellowship training in critical care medicine required Board Certified/Board Eligible
Cardiology Board Certified/Board Eligible
Academic experience with the desire to educate and participate in research required
Experience with mechanical circulatory support devices and VA ECMO desired
Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure prior to starting in the position
