Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Round Rock, Texas (Greater Austin area)
Position Highlights:
- The Anesthesiologist will practice general anesthesiology with a cardiac focus including CABGs, valves, and interventional cardiology procedures, such as TAVRs. No LVADs or heart transplants. Additional casework includes general, thoracic, vascular, regional anesthesia, and OB.
- The selected individual will join a large established team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs, along with nursing, anesthesia tech and admin support in a mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model.
- We cover 2 hospitals, and only do hearts at one of them.
- The work schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
- 1 week of call plus an additional backup weekend approximately every 2 months, with premium pay
- Additional earnings opportunities are provided for working after hours and weekends.
- This is an employed position with a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, a comprehensive benefits package and no state income tax.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Doctorate Degree in Medicine
- Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
- Where Applicable- Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
