Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Round Rock, Texas (Greater Austin area)
The Anesthesiologist will practice general anesthesiology with a cardiac focus including CABGs, valves, and interventional cardiology procedures, such as TAVRs. No LVADs or heart transplants. Additional casework includes general, thoracic, vascular, regional anesthesia, and OB.
The selected individual will join a large established team of anesthesiologists, CRNAs, and AAs, along with nursing, anesthesia tech and admin support in a mixed anesthesia care team/solo staffing model.
We cover 2 hospitals, and only do hearts at one of them.
The work schedule is expected to be Monday-Friday with weekend and evening call rotated equally among the group.
1 week of call plus an additional backup weekend approximately every 2 months, with premium pay
Additional earnings opportunities are provided for working after hours and weekends.
