RN ICU Position Summary:
The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care, utilizing the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation while meeting competently all safe expectations of a nurse.
RN ICU candidate will possess the following education, licenses/certifications, and experience:
Mandatory Requirements:
Current RN License
Current BLS
Preferred: Acute hospital experience preferred
Specific unit Requirements:
ACLS: Required
New Grads are required to get ACLS within the successful completion of the Nursing orientation program.
BLS: Required
Critical Care course preferred or equivalent knowledge and skills validated by demonstration.
Previous critical care experience preferred
