DescriptionSummary:Performs ultrasound examinations of the cerebral, peripheral and abdominal vessels to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disorders affecting circulation. Records and maintains test data and prepares preliminary interpretations of test results. Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the vascular ultrasound field. Must be able to recognize critical preliminary results and notify the physician. Responsible for the quality of vascular exams performed in order to assure a high level of acceptability of images. Works under general supervision but also able to work independently. Must maintain a healthy working environment and communicate effectively with coworkers and physicians. Functions:
