NORTON PALLIATIVE CARE, A PART OF NORTON HEALTHCARE, is seeking a board-certified and fellowship-trained palliative care physician to join its growing team. Norton Palliative Care currently provides services at two facilities, with plans to expand to other facilities. This is a team of collaborative health care providers offering inpatient and outpatient services to our patients. The ideal candidate will join two palliative care physicians, six nurse practitioners, three social workers, and one palliative care nurse. The team has access to hundreds of specialists, including board-certified and fellowship-trained oncologists and researchers. This group completes an average of 9,300 patient visits a year. Palliative care providers work with several service lines across the Norton Healthcare system to partner on palliative care services with hospitalists; intensivists; hospice providers; and emergency room, pulmonary, cardiovascular and cardiology providers. They also collaborate with Norton Cancer Institute Resource Centers and Norton Healthcare’s behavioral oncology and supportive care programs.

Primary work schedule is Monday through Friday
Team of seven days on/seven days off advanced practice providers at each facility provide full-time coverage and cover after-hours calls
