The electrocardiograph technician trainee is a member of the Progressive Care Unit team. He or she adheres to medical center polices and guidelines of practice the monitor technician is a clinical/technical specialist who provides cardiac monitoring and directed patient care under the close supervision of the RN. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
