The 3 West RN is a professional who manages the care of the acutely ill postoperative surgical, neurology, and medicine patient through collaboration with nursing staff, physicians, and other health care providers. He/she must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member and must be able to communicate, listen, report, and gather crucial data in a manner that enhances patient outcomes. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
