Central Texas Veterans Health Care System-Temple is currently recruiting for a Medical Instrument Technician in the Echocardiography (Echo) Lab. Primary assignment will include . 5 days per week at the Temple location. The echo technician will independently perform transthoracic echocardiograms, acquires images for stress echocardiograms, and assists physicians with procedures requiring echocardiography. He or she will recognize emergent findings and alert attending providers. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
