Performs routine, STAT and code blue electrocardiograms with accuracy and efficiency using computerized system for transmission, editing and data management. Recognizes gross abnormalities in EKG recordings and reports immediately to physician and/or nurse

1. High School diploma.
2. EKG training course certificate preferred.
3. Nursing assistant, home health aide, or CNA certification, CMA, EMT, nursing student or current hospital employee- 6 mos experience required.
4. Heartsaver Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
