Saint Luke’s Mid America heart Institute is seeking a board certified/board eligible electrophysiologist with formal training/experience in outcomes research who is interested in leading the group’s effort to build a robust quality of life and outcomes research program for the EP division to complement our well established QoL and outcomes research program in the fields of coronary heart disease, structural heart disease and heart failure. The physician would be expected to dedicate 40-50% of their time to clinical research. A mid-career physician with independent experience in the EP lab is highly desirable. They will be joining a well-established electrophysiology group of 5 physicians and 5 APPs with a full spectrum of clinical services and 3 dedicated modern EP labs equipped with sophisticated mapping , imaging and ablation systems and cardiology and electrophysiology fellowship programs. The team also provides ambulatory and invasive care at 3 regional hospitals. The clinical research would be in collaboration with world experts in outcomes and QoL research led By Dr John Spertus.
