Healtheast and Fairview Health Services is looking for a Telemetry Monitor Technician / Nursing Assistant (0.6 FTE as a Monitor Tech / 0.2 as a Nursing Assistant) at St Josephs Hospital in St Paul, MN. This position is 64 hours per two weeks, 8 hour NIGHT shift with an every other weekend rotation and a holiday rotation. This position is eligible for full benefits .

Observes the cardiac monitors and analyzes, records, and documents the rhythm status for each monitored patient
Communicates information regarding rhythm status, problems, concerns, etc to the RN, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, as appropriate
Participates in meeting unit goals and objectives
Performs clerical duties as delegated by the Clinical Director or Charge Nurse
Current certification on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry upon hire with the following exceptions:
If the applicant is currently enrolled in an RN program, and completion of one (1) semester of clinical rotation within the program or If the applicant is a current Fairview employee, this requirement does not need to be maintained throughout employment and is not required if subsequently transferring into another Nursing Assistant or Nursing Station Tech or Nursing Station Attendant position
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Less than 1 year experience of Transcription/Unit Coordinator experience required
