This position is part of a large heart failure program that BHSPN is collaborating with Northeast Baptist Hospital to provide Arrhythmia management and early detection. RN must be able to read, interpret hospital discharge summaries and care protocols.
This role will work closely with a FT Cardiac Device Specialist and providers, as well as working closely with Full Time Cardiac Device Specialist and Providers: interrogating devices for Providers, tracking remote transmissions, Heart Failure monitoring, preparing remote monitoring reports for MD's to review, educating staff and RN's on all Cardiac Devices. This role will support our 2 main clinic locations and 3 satellite clinics.
Cardiac Device RN responsible for patient triage, patient education, and assisting physicians in the assessment of patient needs and treatment plan(s). Maintain chart documentation to ensure all information about patient is completed and documented correctly.
High School Diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited nursing program.
2 years of clinical in a physician office. Cardiology experience highly preferred.
Current State RN license and CPR certification.
