WakeMed is Hiring Cardiac Sonographer’s in Our Cardiovascular Testing Department for Full-Time Positions!
The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for demonstrating proficiency in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the Cardiovascular system. The Cardiovascular Testing department uses state of the art equipment to perform normal and abnormal Cardiac anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. These roles are full-time positions, working either the day or night shift at our WakeMed Heart Center.

1 Year Clinical – Ultrasound Preferred
Graduate Cardiac Ultrasound Required OR Associate’s Degree Cardiovascular Sonography Required
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OR Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer OR Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Required
Basic Life Support And/Or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Required
Hours of Work: Days or Night
Weekend Requirements: As Needed
Call Requirements: As Needed
