The Registered Nurse on Med Surg 5/Observation is responsible for performing daily rounding on patients. Providing care that is respectful and responsive to the patient's values in clinical decision making. Involves the patient and family psychosocial, spiritual, and emotional, population specific, and diversity needs in care assessment. Supports and informs the patient and family of hospital specific components of the Patient Centered Care Delivery model. Supports open family visitation, family presence during resuscitation and other invasive procedures and promotes a quiet environment.
