The Department of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is accepting applications for an Electrophysiologist within the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. Suitable applicants are board certified/board eligible.
The current program encompasses three institutions with a faculty of nine and six advance practice clinicians. The program has a strong teaching component with a general cardiology fellowship program and an accredited CCEP fellowship. Outstanding clinical facilities and laboratories are equipped with biplane fluoroscopy and computerized mapping to offer a full range of invasive clinical electrophysiologic procedures including complex arrhythmia ablations, device implantation, laser lead extraction and diagnostic testing.
Candidates should be skilled in SVT, AF and VT ablation, as well as the full range of device implantation and management. The Division also has a world renowned ion channel research laboratory offering collaboration at the basic and translational research levels.
