Pediatrix is seeking hire a Pediatric Cardiologist to fill a full time Pediatric Hospitalist/Pediatric Cardiologist role in our practice in Westminster, MD at Carroll Hospital Center. The split is 85% Hospitalist, 15% Pediatric Cardiologist, with opportunity to expand the Cardiology service. The Hospitalist component of this practice provides coverage for a Level-II Special Care Nursery consisting of 10 Special Care Nursery beds, 7 pediatric beds and 20 bassinets from labor and delivery. Responsibilities include assessment and treatment of patients as well as family teaching. In-house call required. The Pediatric Cardiologist component of the practice provides out-of-house call coverage at Carroll Hospital Center. In addition, as a member of Pediatrix Cardiology, this role provides back-up out-of-house call coverage for the Pediatric Cardiologist at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore.
