The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is looking to add a BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologist with fellowship training in pediatric heart transplant/ heart failure to our team of specialists. The candidate will report to an experienced Medical Director with proven programmatic development and tenure in the field of pediatric cardiology.
The ideal candidate should have experience with VADs/MCS devices and will be expected to treat pre- and post-op heart transplant patients as well as provide inpatient and outpatient care to patients with congenital or acquired heart disease.
The Heart Transplant Program at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital is one of only four heart transplant programs in the state and is the premier destination for children in need of these services in South Florida. It includes a 10-bed CICU and seven dedicated cardiac beds in the intermediate care unit.
This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
