The University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a well-qualified electrophysiologist to join the faculty of our well-established and growing academic program.
This position features the opportunity to:
• Combine clinical care, research and medical student, resident and fellow teaching in a world renowned academic environment.
• Join a team of five board certified cardiac electrophysiologists as part of a Cardiology division with 20+ highly skilled physicians
• Be supported by a dedicated EP staff
• Conduct basic or clinical science research, if desired
• Practice in new state-of-the-art laboratory and hybrid facilities opening by 2020
The successful candidate will be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified/board eligible in cardiology. We seek individuals with strong skills in all aspects of cardiac electrophysiology including catheter ablation of supraventricular tachycardia, atrial fibrillation, and ventricular tachycardia; device implants including pacemaker, defibrillator and cardiac resynchronization and lead extraction.
