As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with our Electrophysiology Physicians to develop all aspects of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Program.
Performing physical exams, identifying problems, and determining plans of care
Recording all aspects of inpatient encounters in the electronic health record
Providing follow-up care and documenting progress notes
Leading interrogation and programming evaluation of implantable cardiac devices
Managing the pre-procedural and post-procedure care of electrophysiology patients
Managing hospitalized post-procedure patients including ongoing identification of potential complications, wound and device management, and assessment of appropriateness for discharge
Providing comprehensive discharge planning, documentation of discharge plans of care, management of anticoagulation following procedures, and ensuring appropriate follow up care
Assisting Device Nurses with device troubleshooting, rhythm identification, device programming, and determination of appropriate follow up
Accommodating urgent problem visits, consults and stress tests
Promptly addressing patient calls and communicating test results
Coordinating patient care with other providers
To qualify, you must have an Advanced Practice Degree, current NJ License, and at least 3 years of electrophysiology experience. BLS and ACLS Certifications will be expected, as will the ability to fulfill annual CME requirements. Superior oral/written communication, multitasking and problem solving skills are also essential.
